Welcome to the Dynamic Health Adventure Racing Homepage where we have posted information on our team, races and performance.

Our team, based out of Austin, Texas began in 2000 with Gayla Harris and Richard McCormick teaming up for a sprint race.  Once there, the hook was set and we became avid adventure racers.  In 2002, Randall Huebner and Robyn Cantor joined us  in the Super Cooper, which we won - thanks to some very high winds, and we have been racing together ever since.  We have become very successful in the Master’s division and occasionally beat some of the younger “pups” in the race.  Richard’s son, Chris, joins our team when one of the regulars can not make the race.  Our team has set out to compete successfully in this years TSARC’s series and the SteelSports series.  We will occasionally venture out to other race venues such as the Urban Challenge finals the past two years, and USARA national sprint finals, where we placed 2^nd in 2002. 

Our love for racing, staying in good shape, and being outdoors with our friends and family make the adventure racing scene a natural choice for our time and money.  Our team motto, “we may be old, but we are slow” has served us well.  We just do not quit- even when all of the other teams have packed up and gone home!
